Four details every slot report should include

1 · Category

O-1A, O-1B or O-3. Do not assume an observation for a different category applies to your profile.

2 · Location

The country and post where the option appeared. “India slots” without a location is incomplete evidence.

3 · Appointment stage

Whether the observation concerns biometrics, an interview or the complete appointment flow relevant to that case.

4 · Observation time

The date, time and time zone of the direct observation. Availability can change after the report is published.

What counts as real O-1 availability?

For this site, an O-1 availability observation must be based on a direct view in the official appointment system and must identify the visa category, country, relevant location, appointment type and observation time. A forwarded screenshot, Telegram message or old report is not treated as current availability.

Why we say this carefully: the Department of State says public wait-time information is an estimate and does not guarantee appointment availability. A date visible to one person may not be offered to another applicant.

India appointment planning

O-1 applicants in India commonly plan around New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata, but city preference is not the same thing as eligibility or bookable inventory. Department of State guidance updated 15 July 2026 says nonimmigrant visa applicants should schedule in their country of nationality or residence; applicants scheduling elsewhere may face longer waits and harder qualification questions.

Useful flexibility

Know which Indian posts you can realistically attend before monitoring begins.

Useful caution

Do not cancel a usable appointment only because someone else saw an earlier date.

Before you search for O-1 slots

  1. Confirm petition stage. O visas are petition-based. The Department of State says applicants need the receipt number from the approved petition or Notice of Action to schedule an interview.
  2. Finish the DS-160. Each applicant needs the online nonimmigrant visa application confirmation for the consular stage.
  3. Check fee and profile status. The official appointment service decides what appointment flow and dates your profile can see.
  4. Plan O-3 family capacity. Family cases need enough appointment capacity for every applicant who must attend.

How the location checks are updated

Each city shows its latest published direct check, with the category, appointment stage, date window and observation time. The page checks for a newer published record every minute while it is open. An observation is marked historical after its display window ends, no later than 24 hours after the check.

  • An observation is published only when its required context was recorded.
  • An unchecked city is shown as unverified. An old check is labeled historical, not current.
  • Legal and process facts should continue to cite primary government sources.

Frequently asked questions

Are O1 slots available in India?

Availability changes and may differ by profile, category, location, appointment stage and group size. Review the timestamped record at the top of this page, then confirm any bookable option inside your own official appointment profile.

Should I change my appointment after seeing a screenshot?

Not on that evidence alone. First confirm the option inside your own official profile and review the rescheduling rules. Keep a usable appointment unless you understand what the change will do to your current booking.

Can public wait times predict my O-1 appointment date?

No. Public wait times are useful context, but they do not guarantee an appointment or show exact inventory for an individual O-1 profile.

Can VisaHurry guarantee an O-1 slot?

No. VisaHurry can provide human monitoring and booking support where agreed. It cannot create appointment inventory, reserve dates outside the official system or guarantee a visa outcome.
